A LOOK AT How Theralac Probiotics HELP WITH Digestive Care
THERALAC’S PROBIOTICS ARE PROTECTED IN THE STOMACH BY THE Natural Acid Proof formulation.
The 12 billion “Lacto” probiotics found in Theralac attach to the small intestine’s soft lining to promote a healthy surface.
The 8 billion “Bifido” probiotics contained in Theralac are able to adhere to the wall of the colon and promote healthy structure and function.
The prebiotics included in Theralac are designed to work throughout the intestinal tract and stimulate the probiotics.
Theralac IS THE ONLY SUPPLEMENT TO OFFER 5+2 Biotherapy
Did you know that 100 trillion wild bacteria live in your intestinal tract? This makes it one of the most complex ecosystems known to man!
Your very health and the success of your digestive care efforts depend on whether or not beneficial probiotic bacteria are in control! The rigors of daily life, such as stress, prescription drugs, fast-food meals and aging, all favor harmful bacteria.
You can take control of your digestive care by putting Theralac to work for you! This supplement offers probiotic power that has never before available: 20 billion CFU/Capsule in an Acid Proof formulation (see Acid-Proof Formula section of this website).
5 Symbiotic Probiotics
Theralac contains five different beneficial strains of probiotic bacteria. These bacteria are able to adhere to the soft lining of the intestinal tract to help maintain a healthy surface and aide in digestive care. The scientific names and strain identities of the five are defined here:
- Lactobacillus paracasei, strain F-19
- Lactobacillus acidophilus, strain LA-1
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus, strain LR-44
- Bifidobacterium lactis, strain BL-34
- Bifidobacterium bifidum, strain TB-12
In the small intestine, most especially the lower section called the ileum, the Lactobacillus or “Lacto” strains are most active. In the colon, the Bifidobacterium or “Bifido” strains are most active. All five of Theralac’s probiotic strains function by a number of natural mechanisms that include competitive exclusion of undesirable microorganisms and modulation of the immune system. The effectiveness of the strains is backed by scientific studies.
The probiotic bacteria found in Theralac have been isolated from the intestinal tracts of healthy people. They are then purified, concentrated and freeze-dried before they are incorporated into Theralac capsules. Probiotic bacteria are known to be extremely sensitive to stomach acid and are largely killed en route through the stomach. Theralac’s probiotics are protected by a patented natural acid-proof formulation. This formulation uses sodium alginate from seaweed and grape skin extract (see Acid-Proof Formula section on this website).
Theralac’s 2 Bioactive Prebiotic Stimulants
Lactoferrin and LactoStim are the two bioactive prebiotic stimulants found in Theralac. These substances are food-grade and are known to benefit the growth and survival of probiotic bacteria in the intestinal tract. Lactoferrin binds iron that gram negative bacteria, such as E. coli and Salmonella, require in large amounts. This gives gram positive probiotic bacteria, which require much less iron, a competitive edge. Like Lactoferrin, LactoStim is a food-grade emulsifier that is required by the Lactobacillus bacteria as a growth factor (patented). Theralac does not contain isolated FOS prebiotics. These are known to cause gas and cramping in many people, which is why they were excluded from the formulation.
Theralac’s Shelf Life and Packaging
Theralac requires refrigeration to enjoy optimum stability and full shelf life. This is due to the fact that probiotics are living products. Thanks to Totally Inert Packaging or “TIP,” Theralac is very stable. Theralac capsules come in double-sealed, amber glass bottles. These contain both moisture and oxygen absorption packets. Theralac bottles can be held at temperatures up to 75° F for up to one month, but must be kept refrigerated beyond that. This is necessary to assure potency through the product expiration date.
